Don't recall exact log message Looking at the DrDump page Aura sends me to, I'm definitely not the only one having this particular crash. Dump group dumps, 1. I've tried every update since 1. Is anyone even looking at the DrDump uploads? Because that's been done to death I'm willing to install debug builds. Symbols loaded. Thanks for all the information guys, it appears some of these issues are single cases and caused due to some kind of conflict.
Can everyone confirm whether or not you have Windows update on have installed to the latest update? If there are ways to replicate the issue you're seeing, it would be very helpful to share those details because our software team will be asking for that.
Fully up to date. Running build listed in my specs. Make any attempt to launch aura. I notice you're mentioning about 1. Have you already tried 1. If you have issues installing 1.
I think you already tried the above but maybe try uninstalling then run the AURA cleaner and then reboot to safe mode to reinstall the latest version. What I am trying to say is that any version above 1. Whatever changed after that version is not playing nice with my system; that's the last version that actually worked. I'll try it all one more time though I have already managed to write to the support but maybe someone here has a similar problem.
Pure red, green and blue colors with maximum brightness work ok. The green LED as expected is dimmed, but the other colors lights up at the same time. And they should not. Now instead of the dimmed green color it gets white-ish.
I suspect this is a AURA software error. How does it work for other users? EDIT: I have not noticed any previous posts about this issue. It goes from Dimm 1 straight to Dimm 3 and then Dimm 2 then 4. Anyone have had this issue before? Sorry for any confusion. I know some people are having some difficulty installing but I don't think we received any exact same report from anyone else. I will pass all the details you provided so far over to our software team to look into this. Instead of being less bright, they become white because the remaining colors LEDs becomes brighter.
Hey all! I'm having some trouble with the LightingService. At system boot, the service runs normally. I use the Starry Night profile. Then the process starts over. Any ideas would be appreciated! Did you also update your BIOS to the latest? I am currently running BIOS which was the current version as of the post.
Thanks, we'll have our team look into this. Only thing that can be done is that we keep trying to fine tune the process to reduce CPU usage but it can only reduce by very small margin. Since the process requires the CPU to compute the processes, it's kind of impossible to keep the loading on the CPU to very low. I checked out the LightingService.
On my k, the LightingService. That's way below average, how long did you test for while monitoring the CPU usage and were you also doing anything else during that time? To be honest, Darkan's numbers are more what I was expecting.
Bahz, your thought on the specific profile being used is something that I suspected may be a factor, as well. I also have a K, which is why I was surprised that the process was using what I perceive to be a high amount of resources. I'm definitely curious to hear what Darkan's profile is.
After the above posts, I decided to do a little more research on this, and I have some important findings. I switched from Starry Night to Static, and clicked apply. The application froze for about 30 seconds, but when it unfroze, it dropped to almost non-existent CPU usage. I let it remain on Static for several minutes, and then set it back to Starry Night. I hope these findings help with isolating what causes these strange jumps! Sometimes I'm blind, I missed the K part in my previous reply.
The custom features require the most CPU processing, while simple effects take much less. Music effect is one of the ones that take up more CPU because it's constantly computing based on the music that's being played. The thing is that if you leave your system doing nothing and running AURA then it's likely not to jump all over the place but once you start doing other stuff on your system then I believe that's when you start to see high CPU usage spikes.
I tested this on iX and I witnessed the same thing. I was playing BF1 and had my task manager open and it looked like the spikes weren't affecting my FPS but of course I am using an iX. Excellent point, sir! That's quite fair, that I'd not factored in the relativity of a percentage based metric. Point well taken! BAHZ so these 2 weeks i had a weird issue so i had mine aura sync music issue fixt after removing cmos battery that is what i taught than this week i shutdown mine pc and removed the plug and plugging it back in mine pc rebooted with bios issue cpu fan not running because i was using aio watercooler i taught no problems first time its cool i need to change everything back again like m.
I don't think this is normal. I'm using the latest version of Aura 1. This has been happening with all past versions of Aura. Whenever it happens, I have to kill the LightningAura. I can use all profiles fine. Only clear blue. How can i do that? Why dont you add base color to menu Menu like Pop-up or.
You might also want to try purple and yellow parts and then drag the middle palette to the white side. I received update that we plan to release a new version where you will be able to set RGB from range so pure white can be set as , , Just finished building this pc.
I also have the Trident RGB sticks. I installed Aura and it was working good. It read the Dram and MB. It worked instantly when i turned on the computer.
Having issues? Problem with installing Aura , follow those steps: 1. Run Aura Cleaner tool available here 2. Uninstall Aura through the control panel 3. Download the latest version of AURA available. Apply and close Properties window.
Run "Setup" and reboot your system. And don't forget, Keep pushing it! Awesome, Ill load it up and see what happens. Instead of saying to restart on a document, why not have the "uninstaller" state that when it finishes. I know its nit picking. Other than that, installed just fine and so far so good. All sections set to random static and have to use task manager to even close it.
Moreover, it can control ARGB lights and display incredible light effects. For example, you can set all the components to soothing colors like blue when the temperature is low and it gradually changes to warm colors like red when the temperature increases.
It helps you to decide when to stop. Sounds interesting? So, these are the special features that you will get after the Asus sync download:. The Aura sync supports 10 basic lighting effects and you can create 3 custom profiles of your own choice. Downloading aura sync is pretty simple. You can click on the Download button here and your download starts automatically. Only downloading the aura sync software is not enough.
You have to make a clean installation to make it work.
